GHCA will again be sponsoring four “Georgia Road Jobs” career fairs in late winter/spring throughout the state. As construction industry hiring remains challenging, the job fairs are a good way to continue to raise awareness about careers in our industry. The objectives of the fairs include:

1. Reaching out to those who are currently looking for jobs in road construction (experienced and non-experienced), helping you to fill current job openings.
2. Reaching out to high schools and technical colleges with skilled trade tracks that include construction, CDL, carpentry, heavy equipment repair, etc. We will promote the job fairs to teachers and guidance counselors and encourage them to bring their students. All of these groups are important as we continue to raise awareness about highway construction careers among the future workforce.

There is no cost for GHCA members to participate in the career fairs.
